Auburn Seminary will celebrate Peace is Possible 2011 Nov. 7th!

Peace is Possible 2011

Auburn Seminary is thrilled to invite you to celebrate our Fifth Annual Peace Is Possible dinner benefitting Face to Face | Faith to Faith on Monday, November 7, 2011. This year it’s easier than ever to attend, because you can register online!

Since 2001, Face to Face | Faith to Faith has brought together hundreds of Muslim, Jewish, and Christian Face to Face alumni from the Middle East, South Africa, Northern Ireland, and the United States to develop a new generation of leaders able to negotiate a multifaith global society.

This year Auburn is launching a new era of growth by honoring an emerging generation of millennial advocates for social justice:

Brian Elliot | Entrepreneur and social media innovator in pursuit of LGBT equality

Elspeth Gilmore | Philanthropic advisor for grassroots social change

Khalid Latif | Pioneer Muslim chaplain and visionary for a pluralist American Muslim community

  1. WOW! What wonderful work you are doing to bring love, joy, peace, compassion, and understanding to God’s people. As you may or may not know, the Center Of Unconditional Love has designed a written, audio, or in-person program called “Be Healty – Be Wellthy – Be Wise” which needs to be shared with as many people as possible in honor of the group’s National Forgiveness Day (last Saturday in October of each year). Please take time to visit http://www.unconditionallovelive.com and react and respond to the power of love, joy of forgiveness, and peace of humility. Love to all. Be Jesus to each person you meet. See Jesus in each person you meet.

    • Thank you for the information, Bob.

  2. We all should model our teachers and prophets, according to our traditions, in the spirit of love and compassion.
