Calling Friends at NAIN to Propose Programs for the 2015 Parliament
Since the 1893 World’s Parliament of Religions interfaith activists have been building networks among people of all faiths around the globe, advancing communication and understanding. NAIN members have been vital voices sharing their accomplishments, questions and concerns at the Parliament of the World Religions. Your voice is needed to promote this ongoing interaction, when the Parliament returns to the United States for the first time in more than 20 years this October 15-19 in Salt Lake City.
Register now and consider submitting program proposals concerning the work in which you are currently engaged.
The Parliament is seeking a range of proposals from NAIN members exploring wisdom from your faith tradition, your interfaith experience in your cities, and work addressing the critical issues of the 2015 Parliament: War, Violence and Hate, Income Inequity, and Climate Change and Care for Creation.
The Inaugural Women’s Assembly and Program Initiative for Global Advancement beginning October 15 at the Parliament will run throughout the course of the conference highlighting the work of interfaith women and feature programs on vital nexus of women, religion and human rights, the Divine Feminine, sacred sources of inspiration and strength, and more. Program proposals for the Women’s Assembly and Program Initiative are encouraged to follow the proposal submission process at rfp.parliamentofreligions.org.
NAIN members will be part of ten thousand participants meeting others from 80 nations and 50 faith traditions under the theme: “Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity: Working Together for a World of Compassion with Peace, Justice, and Sustainability.”
All program presenters must be registered to attend the Parliament. Please act today. Program proposals must be submitted by March 15, 2015. Early Bird registration continues through March 31, 2015.
