The NAIN Communications Committee is pleased to announce our 2014-5 Communications intern, Tahil Sharma.
He is a nationally recognized interfaith youth activist with extended knowledge of Eastern faith traditions. He is dedicated to issues of social justice and human rights, with years of experience in volunteering in numerous
fields. He is skilled in conflict resolution, meditation and engaging dialogue between religious and secular groups.
He is proficient in English, Spanish and Hindi, with limited proficiency skills in Urdu and Punjabi
and elementary proficiency skills in Japanese.
His interest in interfaith is highlighted by his role as a Founding Member, and current Treasurer, of Common Ground, the University of La Verne’s interfaith group. Tahil is one of two North American youth liaisons representing the Parliament of the World’s Religions.
On completion of his Bachelor’s Degree at University of La Verne, La Verne, CA, in January, his goal is to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree in fields of peace studies, diplomacy, intercultural communication and/or diplomacy.
